Master Liu Wing Sheung started his copper casting career in 1962. He is now one of the few remaining casting masters in Hong Kong. Besides copper, he also casts other materials such as stainless steel, iron, silver and glass. 

Even at the age of 84, Master Liu continues to explore the techniques of casting humbly. He always strives for perfection and looks for improvement after completing each work. He emphasizes that every piece of completed work has to be pleasing to the eyes; however, the number of failed works far outnumbers the finished works. There is no shortcut to success. Only by facing failures honestly and seeking improvement can we create extraordinary work. “Be friends with failures,” he said.
