Crafts on Peel brings together international and Hong Kong artisans to collaborate and co-create works in various mediums and forms, fostering creative dialogue and cultural connections between regions and within our craft community.

Hearts & Hands: Crafts of Hong Kong is a celebration of the skills and creativity of Hong Kong’s artisans and a reminder of the importance of craftsmanship in preserving the city’s culture and heritage. Crafts on Peel hopes that it will inspire visitors to revive, reinterpret and perpetuate traditional crafts in their own lives, and to play a part in keeping alive Hong Kong’s rich culture of craftsmanship.

Creations Enlivened: Metal showcases the works by traditional craftsmen and contemporary artisans from Hong Kong, working across a myriad of metals, such as copper, brass, silver, tin and galvanized iron.
The exhibition reveals the rich history of metalwork, and contemporary adaptations of those traditional techniques responding to the demand of modern days, while contemporary artisans strive to convey our culture and traditions through the elegance, strength and durability of their metal creations.

Crafts on Peel announces IMAGINE THE ‘IM’POSSIBILITIES: BAMBOO, an exhibition at London Craft Week 2021 showcasing traditional and contemporary bamboo craft from Hong Kong taking place at Soho Works 180 Strand from October 4 to 10, 2021. This program is co-sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London.
